MY GREATEST TREASURE

Everyone in this world needs money. Money is truly one of the important part in our life but it is not life itself. “For we brought nothing into the world, so that we can take nothing out of it; but if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these.” – 1 Timothy 6:7-8. Material things in this life comes and goes. Our desire and needs keep changing day by day. We may be financially rich today. But after a few years we may not have enough money to live our daily life comfortably. Or sometimes we may be robbed of our material treasure like money, gold etc. But if we have the true love, joy, peace, understanding, kindness, gentleness; who can rob us of all this ? That is why the word of God tells us, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust  consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where thieves do not break in and steal.’ – Matthew 6: 19-20.

I AM STRONG IN JESUS

Being strong in Jesus means relying totally on his power and strength instead of our own personal effort. When we rely on his power we allow his grace to sustain us through difficulties and challenges.

We read in the Bible in 2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My Grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness. So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.” Here, we understand strength comes from Jesus and not our own merits. In order to gain this strength we need to remain connected to Christ through constant prayer and reading the Word of God.

ಆಮ್ಚ್ಯಾ ಪೂರ್ವಜಾಂನಿ ಆಮ್ಕಾಂ ಬಾಪಾಚೇ ಆನಿ ಪುತಾಚೇ ಆನಿ ಪವಿತ್ರ್ ಆತ್ಮ್ಯಾಚೆ ನಾಂವಿ ಮ್ಹಣೊನ್ ಖುರ್ಸಾಚೊ ಘುರ್ತ್ ಕಾಡುಂಕ್ ಶಿಕಯ್ಲಾಂ. ಬಾಪಾಚೇ ಮ್ಹಣ್ತಾನಾ ಕಪಲಾಚೆರ್ ಹಾತ್ ಲಾಯ್ತಾಂವ್. ತಶೆಂ ಮ್ಹಳ್ಯಾರ್ ಬಾಪ್ ಮ್ಹಜಾ ಮನಾಂತ್. ಬಾಪ್ ಜಾಣ್ವಾಯೆ ರುಪಾರ್ ಮ್ಹಜೆ ಥಂಯ್ ಬಿಡಾರ್ ಕರ್ನ್ ಆಸಾ. ಆನಿ ಪುತಾಚೇ ಮ್ಹಣ್ತಾನಾ ಕಾಳ್ಜಾಚೆರ್ ಹಾತ್ ಲಾಯ್ತಾಂವ್. ಪೂತ್ ಮೋಗ್, ಕಾಕುಳ್ತ್, ಕಣ್ವಳಾಯ್, ದಯಾಳಾಯ್, ಮೊವಾಳಾಯೆಚಾ ರುಪಾರ್ ಮ್ಹಜಾ ಕಾಳ್ಜಾಂತ್ ವಸ್ತಿ ಕರ್ನ್ ಆಸಾ. ಆನಿ ಪವಿತ್ರ್ ಆತ್ಮ್ಯಾಚೆ ನಾಂವಿ ಮ್ಹಣ್ತಾನಾ, ಆಮಿ ಭುಜಾಚೆರ್ ಹಾತ್ ಲಾಯ್ತಾಂವ್. ಪವಿತ್ರ್ ಆತ್ಮೊ ಜೆಂ ಕಿತೆಂ ಬಾಪಾನ್ ಸಾಂಗ್ಲಾ, ಪುತಾ ಥಂಯ್ ದೆಖ್ಲಾಂ, ತೆಂ ವ್ಹಯ್ ಮ್ಹಣೊನ್, ಪವಿತ್ರ್ ಆತ್ಮೊ ರುಜು ಕರ್ತಾ. ತೆ ತೆಗೀ ಏಕ್ ಜಾವ್ನ್ ಮ್ಹಜೆ ಥಂಯ್ ಬಿಡಾರ್ ಕರ್ನ್ ಆಸಾತ್.

PRAYER KEEPS US ALIVE

Prayer is basically lifting our minds and hearts to God requesting him to grant our needs and wishes. We always ask other people to pray for us. We explain our problems and our physical needs to people expecting them to pray. But who exactly is going to answer our prayers? Is it the people we go to? No, my dear brothers and sisters. The Word of God tells us, “Ask, and it will be given to you; search and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you.” – Matthew 7:7. These words are said by Jesus Christ; the only one who can answer all our prayers. “Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”- Philippians 4:6.
